We all know what free means, but it is also about maintaining market share, or so the campaign states. In any case if you but and older windows PC the upgrade will still come free. Hence the HW providers are offering discounts to clear their stock.
Now the HW itself is the most up-to-date so it's probably a good deal. As for whether the new OS might be something you'll wish you'd waited on installing, we'll see. OK I decided to take the upgrade now while it's still free. If my postings stop for a while, perhaps that will indicate what I am dealing with :)
